A personal project by Bobby Noonan
Make every
game count.
NHL Fantasy Hockey Assistant is being developed to bring league rules, player availability and weekly opportunity into one thoughtful view of Bobby's own fantasy hockey teams.
Explore the project01 The purpose
The right decision starts
with the right context.
A player's next game is only part of the picture. The useful question is how that opportunity fits a particular roster, scoring system and matchup.
This project is designed for Bobby Noonan's personal use across his own Yahoo fantasy hockey teams. The aim is to make roster decisions easier to understand through careful analysis of each league's rules and the evidence available at the time.
The planned assistant will explain its recommendations, identify missing information and show where a different assumption could change the decision. Future performance and matchup outcomes remain uncertain.
02 The plan
A fuller view of the week.
Planned capabilities
Each league's own rules
Recommendations informed by the connected league's scoring, positions, lineup locks, acquisition limits and matchup dates.
Multiple personal teams
A coordinated view of the owner's teams, with rosters, rules and player availability evaluated separately for each league.
Usable games remaining
Weekly opportunity that accounts for roster slots, bench congestion, timing and expected appearances, alongside schedule changes.
Players and goaltenders
Monitoring for injuries, deployment and goalie news, with projected, reported and confirmed information clearly distinguished.
An AI specialist council
AI roles focused on hockey usage, goalies, schedules, league rules and statistics, supported by an adversarial review of the evidence.
Reasons you can inspect
Advice accompanied by sources, update times, assumptions, competing options and uncertainty, so the owner can make an informed decision.
03 Evidence & privacy
Trust is part of the design.
The planned assistant will keep the source and age of its information visible. Missing, stale or conflicting evidence will be part of the explanation.
Fantasy context
Approved Yahoo access would provide the owner's league rules, rosters and credited fantasy results within the permissions granted.
Hockey context
Schedules, player statistics and specialist news would be used only through permitted sources, with their coverage and limitations identified.
Honest uncertainty
AI analysis will be labeled as analysis. Predictions, reported availability and confirmed game participation will remain distinct.

This overview has no forms, account sign-in, analytics scripts or collection of league data. The hosting service may process normal request metadata to deliver and protect the page. Any future Yahoo account connection would require separate authorization and privacy details covering the data accessed, storage, retention and removal.

Any future automated lineup or roster actions would require separate explicit written consent from Yahoo and verified support from the approved API. They are outside the initial read-only request and are not currently available in this project. Yahoo's applicable terms and granted permissions would govern any integration.
